What is the fastest way to get from Nice to Milian and then on to Venice?

Nancy, As you noted, the "fastest way" to get from Nice to Milan is via train. The shortest travel time I could find using current schedules is 5H:02M from Nice Ville to Milano Centrale (1 change in Ventimiglia, reservations compulsory for the second leg of the trip). Are you staying at least one night in Milan? The trip from Milan to Venice is a very easy 2H:35M (no changes, reservations compulsory). Note that your destination station will be Venezia Santa Lucia.
