Has anyone traveled from Naples train station to Caserta to see Castle there, is it located close to train station or is their local transportation to and from castle for 2 Sr. travelers who are familiar with Naples but not Caserta. Thanks for any information.

I have traveled from Naples to Caserta by train but haven't visited the palace. Trains are frequent, cheap and easy, and my recollection is that it's not a long walk from the station to the palace.
P.S. I looked at Google maps and it seems to confirm my recollection. Cross the street and walk through the park to the entrance.

Easy-peasy. When you come out of the train station walk to your left to the pedestrian crossing and the palace will be in front of you.
