train from MXP to the Duomo in Milan

I am flying into MXP and will be staying 5 minutes from the Duomo,,I researched a direct train from MXP to Cadorna station,,but I think this is still a 20 minute walk. I noticed there is a metro station much closer to the Duomo but not sure how to get to it or what the station is called,,,any help,,,please,,TIA

Its called...wait for it..."Duomo". It is on the M1 (Red) line and there is also a station at Cadorna.

This might help.

Malpensa express - Corodna then Metro line 1, red line to Duomo. Around 4 minutes.

We took the Malpensa Express to Cadorna and then transferred to the M1 to San Babila (it is near the Duomo - maybe 5-6 minute walk). It was the closest station to the flat we rented via AirBNB. So depending on exactly where near the Duomo you are staying, you could get off either at the Duomo station or San Babila.
