We are flying into Milan and spending the day before taking a train to Vernazza. When do train tickets go on sale for July travel? Also, is baggage storage available at Milano Centrale? Thanks

Regional train tickets for the last leg to Vernazza are not yet for sale because timetables change in June.
However, Intercity train tickets from Milan to the nearest main rail station, Levanto, are for sale.
So I recommend that you book now the train to Levanto at the time that suits you best. Then, there will be plentiful connections to Vernazza, you do not need to book that ahead.
If Levanto times do not suit you, try la Spezia.

Levanto? Why wasting time getting off the Intercity train from Milan ahead of time?
Buy now a ticket from Milano Centrale to Monterosso. On June 9 get the Regionale tickets on trenitalia.com/en.html from Monterosso to Levanto. Regionales can't sell out so you have nothing to worry about.
