Train from Milan to La Spezia

I'm wondering if anyone knows which side of the train has the best views? The left or the right looking at the chart? Seat d and B are on the left and seat C and D on the right.

It's mostly factories, fields and then tunnels in Liguria. With quick glimpses of the mountains and the ocean between tunnels.
Anyway I doubt you'll be travelling on a fully booked train, nobody will prevent you from moving to the other side of the train if/when there is something interesting to see.

The train will run through the 5 Cinque Terre stations on the way to La Spezia and it could even stop in Monterosso for 10 minutes.

I think that the views matter too and I appreciate the question. I usually make round trips so if I sit on the same side I get to see both views. One thing to remember about this trip is that you will be going through hills and mountains (not sure how big these hills are) quite often and there will be nothing to see except darkness (and no cell reception). Once you get to Levanto start watching the windows as the villages of Cinque Terre zoom by your window. Good luck and happy travels.

Thank you for responses! Sounds like there will only be a few quick views with tunnels etc., but I like the idea of switching sides if there's a view and that helped me pick our seats on the train! Thanks again for all your viewpoints.
