I will be flying into the Genoa airport and want to travel by train to Vernazza. I know I can take a bus to the Genoa Piazza Principe train station to catch a train to Vernazza. There is also a train station (Genoa cornigliano) just minutes away from the airport. Does anyone have experience or advice about using the Cornigliano station vs. the main Piazza Principe station. According to the trenitalia schedule trains run through Cornigliano on the way to Piazza Principe.

If you get an answer, I would like to know- as I will be taking the train from Genoa to Cinque Terra as well. Have you found a place to stay in Cinque Terra? I am having a difficult time. Thanks!

Lorette, I used RS guide for Cinque Terra and emailed many establishments for a room. Many were full when I was initially looking looking last month. Or did not have rooms for every night. I wish you success in your search.
