Where can I get a train schedule for returns from Florence to Livorno? I have to be back on the boat at 7 and need to know when to leave Florence. Also, what is the traffic situation if we were to go by car? Should I assume that train is faster?

Karen, there is great train service from Florence to Livorno. The trains run about once an hour or so. CLICK HERE to see a typical afternoon train schedule. Hopefully, your boat is not docked there on a Monday (as some do) when the major sites in Florence are closed.
