Need to get from FCO to Monopoli and prefer train. Arriving Oct 16 for bike ride and easier to take bike and luggage on train. Will not arrive FCO until 4 pm on Sun Oct 16. Any help for this? Thanks, Stan

The last (only) departure from Roma Fiumicino that would get you all the way to Monopoli by midnight is the 17:00 departure (6 hours travel time). The same connection gets you to Bari by 22:00, but still no option if your flight is late. I would stay in Rome near Termini train station for the first night.
