We will be leaving CT the night before our cruise from Civit. Do you think it is necessary to leave the night before or could we just leave the morning of the cruise? My concern was what if something happened and we missed our cruise so that is why we thought we would stay one night close to cruise terminal. Or do you recommend another spot to stay close to terminal? We would probably like to do laundry before boarding cruise. Also what is the train ride like? Is it quite scenic along the coast?
