I have been on Trenitalia's website, and am still confused. We will be leaving from Bonassola (village just north of Cinque Terre) to go to Nice in France. I think we need to go to Genoa, and then get a French train???
Any advice gratefully received.

From Bonassola to Genoa, then Ventimiglia (near the French border). From there you get the puddle-jumper to Nice. Worth the trip, though!
