Train from Bergamo to Rome

Looking to pre-book October train tix from Bergamo to Rome, but the Trenitalia pull down menu lists two Bergamo stations: Bergamo and Bergamo Ospedale. Which is correct/preferred? Or, are they the same station?

We'll be doing the reverse train in November.

I stayed up in the Citta Alta section of Bergamo. I used the Bergamo Train station to arrive & leave.

You can look up each of the stations on a map and see which one you prefer.

Bergamo Ospedale is a station that, as the names suggests, serves the Bermamo hospital. It only sees regional trains. If you board there you will first take a local train (or currently a rail replacement bus) to the main Bergamo station, and board a long distance train there.

Tip: Most on line trip planners are set up so that if you start typing the name of a place the most important station is listed first...

Thank you for the quick replies. We're booked. First class, four hours and 30-something minutes - 130 Euros.

So, after 30 days in the Bergamo area, we'll train to Rome for 30 days there. And end up back in Vilnius for an early Thanksgiving holiday! All within the 90-day Schengen limit!

Packed and waiting to leave this weekend.
