I am going to be trekking the Dolimites in Sept, 2015 . At the end of the trek, I want to head from Belluno down to Verona by train. Can anyone give any insight into the logistics of this. Also, would love to hear everyone's options for lodging location/ sightseeing choices in Verona. I only have 2 days in Verona before heading to Venice for a couple days before returning to the States. Thanks in advance👍😎
Trenitalia.com indicates this will be about a 3 hr train ride. You'll need to change trains 1 or 2 times depending on the time of day, and day of the week your planning to travel. The easiest route would be taking a train from Belluno to Padova and then changing trains to head to Verona. Trenitalia.com suggested other options. You might look around there to see which one fits your itinerary best.
Best journey is 3hrs12mins with a change in Padova.
Departures at least every 2 hours for this routing with only one change.
