Train from airport in Rome to Venice

We are flying into Rome beginning of May and need to catch the train to Venice. IS there a train station at the airport that we can take straight to Venice? We will need round trip ticket.

There is a train station at the airport. You can buy a roundtrip from there to Venice out of a machine. Depending on the time you want to depart your ticket to Venice may require a change of trains in Rome Termini or Rome Tiburtina station.

You can search in advance to get an idea of the schedules

There are 2 direct high speed trains each day from FCO station to Venezia S. Lucia, at 11:08 and 15:08.

There's only one direct Freccia train per day back to FCO. It departs Venice SL at 09:25 and arrives FCO at 13:52. There are multiple Freccia and Italo trains per day from Venice to Roma Termini with no change. You'd be wise to spend the night before your return flight in Rome, even if you have a late afternoon or evening flight. You could then take either a taxi or the Leonadro Express train to the airport.
