Train florence to Rome seating

We plan on the train from florence smn station into Rome fco...
In Trying to book tickets it gives 3 choices all for 1st class... Regular fare, economy fare and super economy... If it's all 1st class does the price differences refer to advanced purchase, not seating choices? Also any issues regarding luggage.. We will have 1 25" each?

Regular, Economy and Super Economy have nothing to do with class of service. They are discount levels. Super Economy is the cheapest, but totally nonrefundable or changeable, economy is semi changeable and regular or base is fully flexible.
Your train may have up to 5 classes of service, and these 3 discount levels may be available in all of them. 2nd class should be perfectly fine with room for your luggage. It is a short trip and usually nonstop.

'Super Economy' is your pot of gold! Cheap & a completely restricted fare are the only differences.

There is room in the car to stash your suitcase. Your seating will be assigned to you at time of purchase, that is the easiest, or you can use the seat plan. There is no difference on seat choices, according to the price you pay - it's only according to the actual class of service.

Hope this helps... buy those tickets ASAP, before the Super Economy fare sells out for the train that you want!
