Does anyone know when the last train leaves Verona for Padua? I'm spending a few nights in Padua this summer and would like to catch an opera performance in Verona one of the evenings, but am hesitant to book anything unless I can get back to Padua after the performance, which begins at 8:15 PM. If I'm reading the train website correctly, the last train leaves Verona for Padua before the opera even starts. Can anyone tell me if there is a late train returning, say, 11:30 from Verona? Thanks for any help you can give.

Looks to me like your last option is at 22:47, according to current schedules. Guess it depends on how long the opera lasts.

Last summer some performances went on until 1:30 a.m. due to rain delays. Normally you can count on operas lasting 3 hours so you won`t make it to the station in ti
me for the last train.
