Traditional Roman dinner near Coliseum in late July

Hello! Heading to Rome in late July (I know, not the best time to visit) and looking for a proper Rome dinner place with lots of courses that won’t be insanely expensive near the Coliseum. If a good place isn’t near there, any recommendations are welcome! Thank you!

I can recommend Naumachia on Via Celimontana, 7 and Contrario Vineria Con Cucina on Via Ostilia, 22; both are a few blocks east of the Colosseo in the Celio rione. Went twice to Naumachia and only once to Contrario last late February. Would have dined at Contrario more if I had discovered it sooner during my stay. I thought the food, service and ambience excellent at both establishments. I enjoyed pasta dishes, polpette, seafood, salads and devoured everything.
