Looking for a tour that goes to countryside and stops at several wineries from Florence . Dad's friend went on one but of course doesnt know the name and the ones we found on line stop at one winery.
Any suggestions for a tour that gets us into the countryside ? thanks

Hi Diane: Don't know if this will be of any help to you, but in 2010 I moved onto Sienna from Florence. I stayed at Dolmus Alma-in Rick's book. They had all kinds of info on wine tours available thru the front desk. I did 2, 2 days in a row. Although each tour only stopped at 1 winery, they stopped in other small towns as well. All in all, I went to approx 3-4 towns on each day. Of course, I don't remember the names of the tour companies, but I just booked once there.

The Slow day in Tuscany visits a couple of wineries http://www.slow-days.com/ . There don't seem to be many tours which visit multiple wineries - if it is within your budget, perhaps a driver for the day would allow you to cover more ground and wine tastings?
