We will be in Rome in October this year. On our last trip we spent a lot of time in the Roman Forum but had to rush through the Palatine Hill area because of a pre booked tour of the multiple levels of the Colusseum. This time around we would like to take time to really see the Palatine Hill ruins. I understand that you can tour the houses of Augustus and Livia, but can't find how/where to make reservations for this tour?
I went to the coop culture.it site and it lists the Palatine Hill as part of the combined ticket for the Col/Forum and it says you need a reservation to tour the houses, but that's about all I can find.
Also, if anyone has been on this tour I'd love to hear about your experience.
