Tours of Ancient Rome

Has anyone had experience with Touriks tours of Rome? Any comparison with Through Eternity tours which Rick mentions in the book?
How important/ interesting is adding the Colosseum underground versus just doing the Colosseum (with the arena only). [For both options, the Forum and Palatine Hill are included].

Thanks,

Tom

I can't speak for Touriks but I'll vouch for Through Eternity. We've used them 3 times and all have been excellent. I'd go as far as saying the best for tour company that we've used in Europe. I've never done the underground tour but thought the standard tour was adequate. By far we enjoyed the Forum and Palatine Hill more. There is so much history that a good guide can bring to life in those two areas.
