Congrats on the wedding!!! We used Walks of Italy for both Rome (coliseum and the Vatican) and in Florence (1/2 day city tour). That's a lot of time in Florence, are you doing any day trips? I would do 6 in Rome and 4 in Florence, so much to see and do in Rome.
In Florence we also we used Walk about Florence , look on their website to see all the options. We did the all day Tuscany which included lunch on an Organic farm.
I usually just book official tours through the official sites. They are always very good and are inexpensive. You can even get early hours or late night tours through the official sites. It really just depends on which sites you wish to visit.

We loved Florence and are going back this summer for six nights at a Tuscan Villa outside of the main city. We took the Walkabout "The Best of Tuscany Tour" and it was one of the highlights of our entire European trip a few years ago. We are not tour bus people and reluctantly showed up early in the morning to do the tour. The guide was awesome and they take you to several Tuscan cities, food and wine at a vineyard, etc. They also have a full day Cinque Terre Tour. Since you are staying in Florence for six nights you can space these two tours out. You might also consider a cooking class day where you shop for the ingredients at the local Florence market and then spend the day learning how to make real Italian food (Taste of Italy cooking class is great).
You two will most likely have one of the most memorable honeymoons a couple can have. We wish you the best!
I went to Florence last summer and did a half day trip to Pisa and full day trip to Cinque Terre with "CAF Tours".
I also did a day trip in Tuscany with "Fun in Tuscany" http://www.funintuscany.com/
Both trips were absolutely wonderful!! The trip into Tuscany was by far the highlight of my trip.
