Tours in Rome

Just got back from December trip to Rome. We want to thank people for recommending Francesca Caruso for a private tour of the Colosseum and Forum. We often do our research and sightseeing on our own but took Rick's advice and had the best travel experience ever. The tour for the two of us was less expensive than those large cruise ship type tours and she truly brought it all to life for us. She speaks perfect English, has a warm personality and is so engaging that we were in awe the whole time. We just loved the experience she gave us. Truly most amazing and unforgettable! Don't fly all the way across the world to wander around on your own reading a map. Go with a local guide who has the expertise and knowledge of someone like Francesca and really live it!

Lynn,

It's great to hear that you had such a wonderful tour with Francesca. That's exactly why I always recommend her so highly. She has an amazing knowledge of the history and a really nice person too!

Cheers!

Francesca rocks! I have had her twice on RS tours in Rome. I particularly enjoyed her commentry on the Bernini works in the Borghese Gallery - and I am someone who does not particularly like being lectured to in museums or galleries. Also did a colosseum/forum/San Clemente tour with her and the Ghetto. Her email [email protected]. Book early, she is a busy lady but she will recommend other guides if she is busy.
