We're looking for a good introductory type tour in Florence. I think we're going to go on our own to see David and the Uffizi, but some kind of tour that will hit other important places in Florence. Thanks!
We did the "The Original Florence Walk" Walking Tour through Artviva and LOVED it! It was about a 3 hour tour covering some of the main sights. Here is the link:

About how big was your tour group?
I would try Paola Migliorini at Tuscany Tours as a guide - she is super nice and knows her stuff. I think I have seen here name on this site before, so maybe a search on ricksteves would find some more about her tours...
