Are the borders closing again in Europe.
We are going in March to Italy. I heard that the new variant Covid is happening in Europe. Are The tours canceled?

It's too early for anyone to say whether the new variant will impact tours for 2022. At this point there does not even seem to be data saying how sick people are getting with the new variant.
There have been measures put in place in Europe and the US to restrict travel from South Africa and several other African countries but I would not characterize this as "closing borders". Prior to the discovery of this variant, several countries had gone back to early closures and lockdowns as numbers climbed in their areas.
If you are signed up for a Rick Steves tour, you've got until Dec 31 to cancel without penalty anyway so you've got a month to see how things go.
