I hope the people are caught and dealt with.
Below is a link to the article. I'm not familiar with the museum.

Very Strange. It works for me, but thanks for posting a link that should work for everyone.
Perhaps there will be an “Iron Maiden” to seat the barbarian on during his next visit to Italy.
You are going to make them listen to heavy metal? Cruel. But they are back on tour this years, so the possibility exists.

I saw video of this on a morning news show. It shows the couple taking turns photoing each other "sitting". He breaks the chair and they skedaddle.
I hope someone can identify them. Maybe a hotel employee will recognize the ignorant duo.
I saw this on this morning's news as well. I want to blame it on Instagram, but really, its some level of arrogance and entitlement. Really hope they are not from the U.S. Jerks like that live everywhere. . . .
Somebody broke a chair at the Minneapolis Art Institute a few years back. Apparently, they were unaware it was a museum piece.
I recall touring the art institute once as a part of training for an art adventure program I participated with. We stopped to discuss a sculpture of Ganymede and an eagle. While the docent talked, a woman was stroking the marble sculpture while everyone watched wide eyed until the docent noticed. I mean, the children are taught as part of the program to stay an arm's length away and only touch which their eyes. . .
I was so hoping the vandals could be caught at the airport, but this event happened two months ago during April.
