Has anyone stayed at any of these hotels?
1. Hotel Central- Via G Giolitti 433 in Rome
2.Hotel Meridiana - Viale Don Minzoni 25 in Florence
3.Hotel Arlecchino- Santa Croce 390 in Venice
These are suggested hotels in a tour to Italy does anybody have an opinion ?

Go to www.tripadvisor.com, select Europe as the destination and then type in the name of the hotel. You will undoubtedly see reviews of it from people who have recently stayed there. I found it very useful in selecting a few of the hotels I've stayed at that were not recommended by Rick Steves.

When I was in Venice with my family last March, we stayed at a beautiful little hotel on Murano Island. It's a quick boat ride to Venice and you have more of a chance to discover Murano - one of my favorite places! The name of the hotel where we stayed is Locanda Conterie (www.locandaconterie.com). An incredible value - it was about $70 USD per night for a double room. Have fun!
