I will be traveling from Cinque Terre to Florence on June 17 by train, and want to stop off in Pisa to see the field of miracles and the tower. By coincidence, the 17th is the day of the Festival of Saint Ranieri. Now I'm excited to see the races, but was wondering if anyone had advice who has toured Pisa on that day. My one priority is to be able to check bags while I explore for the day. Will this still be possible if the city is mobbed for the festival?
