Anyone know of a nice, safe Rome hotel near all the sites that would be good for three women traveling ???? Anyone know of a good reliable tour company for day tours in Rome and the Amalfi Coast ?????

Nice and safe do not have a lot of meaning by themselves. There probably is a couple thousand nice hotels and all are safe. We have used Sonya and Aberdeen near Termini. The Termini area is on the edge of the tourist sites and we think it is near enough but not centrally located. From there we find it easy to walk to most sites. We like Angel tours. The TI is always a good source for local tours.

When are you going? I have never been there, but I'm leaving for there Sunday. I am staying half way between Termini and the Collosseum and might can make a recomendation when I get back in 2 weeks.
