Does anyone recommend a tour company that leaves from Rome to Pompeii and back for a day trip? I know we can do it ourselves, but it would be nice for someone else to take care of everything. Thanks

Meredith, Walks of Italy has a one-day group tour from Rome that includes a guided tour of Pompeii plus a drive of the Amalfi Coast including a lunch stop in Positano. They are a fine tour company, which I believe still offers a 10 percent discount for mentioning your RS connection. If Walks of Italy has such a tour, I imagine some of the other major your companies in Rome Must also. This is a long day, a lot of time in a vehicle, and quite a pricey tour per person, but it sounds like a nice way to cover all this territory if that is all the time you have.
