Tour recommendations for Milan/Last Supper?

I've read several posts regarding scarcity of Last Supper tics.. I too delayed purchasing them and find myself out of luck. The next best thing seems to be the 3 hour tour that includes the Last Supper. I'm looking for advice from all you seasoned travelers out there . Thanks in advance.

We were actually glad we had to do the three-hour walking tour. We got to see La Scala and other places we would not have thought of. Since the time you get to spend at The Last Supper is so short (15 minutes) just doing that would have been unsatisfying.

In July I used a company called " Select Italy" which offered tickets to the Last Supper only, at 6pm- $36 for 2 , plus shipping fee of about $3. The tickets were confirmed within about 24 hours and etickets issued. Pricey, but less expensive than the bus tour we bought 5 years ago; as noted above. however, we too enjoyed seeing the interior of La Scala, the castle's Michelangelo, the interior of the Duomo and the Galleria on the tour, so the 3 hour tour back then was not wasted money.

I bought Select Itsly's tickets for Leonardo's Las Supper online and printed out the voucher, I think I paid about 50% more than the base price.

Sounds like I went on the same tour that Stan did. I booked thru Viators - which is a consolidator.
We had 1/2 day tour - part was by bus and part was walking.
La Scala and time to see the museum there, a short time in the Duomo (we went back to see more and go up on the roof) and several other places in Milan.

I felt the Last Supper 15 minutes was fine amount of time to view the masterpiece.

I used tickitaly.com for October 2014 and was very pleased with the tour and admission to the Last Supper. The group was small, and was much nicer having the last supper detailed to me while I looked instead of having to do that myself. We walked after that to the Sforza Castle. Totally enjoyed the tour.

The tour was - well, a tour. Kept you moving but as noted did include admission to LaScala, etc. It wouldn't have been worth it to us but for the Last Supper Tickets (and we tried and tried the telephone til I figured I had better things to do with my time).

If you haven't already, definitely try calling. The website had no availability for the one day in October that I'll be in Milan, but there were several times available for that day when I called.

Thank you to all who responded. I'm convinced now that the 3 hr tour sounds like the best option. Happy travels, Jeff
