We will be traveling to Rome for a day prior to departing on a cruise. Since there are 6 of us I would like to find a good tour operator who can pick us up at our hotel and take us to the appropriate sights for a whole day tour. Any suggestions for a good tour company?

The hotel management in Rome recommended Carrani Tours. We had a good experience, on time pickup at our hotel door for our Vatican tour. They pickup from central hotels, so worth checking them out.

We did that exact itinerary 6 years ago and used Dott. Alessandro Innocca de Cesaris @ [email protected], He arranged for a van to pick 9 of us up at the cruise line, we met him in Rome and off we went. Very knowledgeable, easy going and arranged lunch for us at a local restaurant.
I recommended him to friends last Christmas and they were also pleased. Right now, I am waiting fly to Rome and I have engaged Alex for a half day tour.
