I will be visiting Rome for the first time in late May of 2026. I will have 3 full days to tour the city which is not much time. I have a draft itinerary and one day includes the Vatican. I am thinking I should hire a tour guide. Any suggestions?
Thanks
Pat

YES - she is also a Rick Steves guide for his tours. We used her for 2 days in October - San Clemente, Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon, Vatican - she was fantastic. She may be booked for May - here is her info . . .

Thanks to both ChinaLake 67 and ChristineH for your rapid replies. I have started to contact guides and am hoping they are not booked.
Pat- We actually hired Nina Bernardo. She is one of Rick’s normal tour guides but started doing some private tours back in 2021. Since we have hired her twice. She is a delight!!
Dear islandfam2008: Thanks for your reply. Nina is not listed in Rick's current Rome guide book and when I search on Google nothing for her comes up. Do you have contact info for her?
Thanks
Hello!
We used Cinzia on one of our trips to Rome and she was fantastic. She was recommended to me by a friend who used her and was also pleased. She even helped us capture some of our favorite pictures from Rome.
