tour guide for Capri

would you recommend getting a tour guide on Capri and if so who would you recommend.......also what is the best way to see the blue grotto and which sites should not be missed on Capri

No, because it's so easy to navigate on your own. It's not that big and all the sites you may want to see are likely listed on Trip Advisor (Villa Jovis, i faraglioni, etc).

Others may disagree, but I skipped the blue grotto as it feels like an overpriced tourist trap - it's just not my thing, but to each his own. It was much nicer to just stroll everywhere among the lovely narrow passages and alleys and take in the surroundings and, of course, stop and eat and then eat some more while admiring the beautiful views of the water.
