I am driving to Rome for the day. I would like to meet a guide in a convenient place then have a guided tour of the main sites and the Vatican. Recommendations on a guide please.

We booked the Vatican tour with his company. They also offer tours of the forum, Colosseum, and possibly other sites. Their prices for three people were better than prices I could find on Get your Guide and Viator.

We used Agnes from Understanding Rome. She was sensational, she is British and is a qualified historian, but has been married to a Roman for decades and lives in Rome.
