My wife and I have been to St. Peter's/Sistine Chapel, but we would like to spend more time in the Eternal City. That said, we have only 4 days to see various other sites that the city has to offer. From the Vatican you can walk to many of the sites Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc. Or a short distance from the Vatican you can take the Termini which will take you to within blocks of various site. The stop for the Coleseo will take you directly in front of it. Much of Rome can be seen on foot.
