Can you recommend tour groups for the Vatican Museums/Sistine Chapel and the Colosseum?
Would recommend either Walks of Italy or The Roman Guy. We will be using both on our upcoming trip there.
I'd use the official sites for both.
Colosseum, Palatine Hill and Roman Forum.
We used Context Tours for both. They are a little more expensive but worth the money - only 6 people per group and talented, experienced tour guides.
You also may download Rick Steves' audio tours and see if they give you enough of what you are looking for. I like them because I can then see the sites at my own pace.
I always use the official websites to book tours. Both will cost you much less than the private companies that have been recommended. All tour groups use headphones so you can clearly hear the guides.

we used What a Life Tours, for 3 tours and all guides they were amazing. They have an office near the Vatican so their Vatican Tour meet there, which is nice. For the Vatican Early Access they offered us also a coffee and croissant for free! Nice, friendly people in the office, our group they small no more than 10-12 people.
We used City Wonders for both and they were good. https://citywonders.com/vatican-tours/vatican-and-colosseum-tour
While we are still three weeks out from our first trip to Rome, we did book the Sistine/Vatican tour with City Wonders and our Colosseum tour with Walks of Italy.
