Read that we can get Mondo tour from Sorrento to Capri but we will be in Positano.
Any suggestions for tour out of Positano to Capri.

Why not just go to Sorrento to join the tour? Or contact Mondo and see if you can arrange to meet them at the boat landing in Capri: take a ferry from Positano?
Very honestly, Capri is not very big and, with a little reading up in advance, not difficult to see without a tour. It has a very good website.
Not sure if still the case, but I recall while taking the ferry over to Capri there were a couple of "tour solicitors" for lack of a better term that were basically approaching people and asking if they were interested in taking their Capri tour. I recall being approached by both land and boat tour operators.
If you research what you want to do in advance you don't need a tour.
Agreed, no tour of Capri needed. You can opt for taxi ride with open top or just join the crowds up top in Capri Town for elegance.. you can have a 1 Euro thrill at the Gardens of Augustus and see the farglioni rock formation,.take bus to Ana Capri ( to right when you are off the funicular). Beautiful views from Mt. Solaro chair lift, or visit Villa San Michele, and the Majolica tiled church all in a couple of hours... I do not recommend the Blue Grotto drama if you only have a day trip.
Frequent ferries between Positano and Capri...when in Positano there is a little boat with a RED FISH...this takes you to a restaurant and rustic beach club for lunch..called "Da Adolfo" .a 15 minute motorboat ride up the coast...good food and not a rip off....just ask for price of fish first as usual. Your hotel can arrange for this free boat ride and reserve space for you...we were booked in on an 11 a.m. boat and stayed the whole day! There is a basic changing room and an out door shower to wash off..we dressed and went right to cocktail hour on the main beach for sunset without having to climb back to hotel! :) WATER SHOES are a must in the region as rocks are the size of softballs and slimey...think the bottom of a lake.. :)
