Tour Company: Presto Tours or Through Eternity?

Has anyone had experience with the two companies. According to reviews these are the two best companies in Rome and Presto can skip the queues at the Vatican? Can anyone give me some advice as I will be in Rome soon and need to choose the best company for me!

We recently returned from Italy and used Presto tours for our entrance to the Vatican Museums. It worked perfectly. We chose the VIP tickets which did not include the tour but got us in at 1:15 PM with no wait. Once we bought the tickets online, they immediately sent a confirmation with explicit directions, a map, and even a photo of the meeting spot near the Museum entrance. Everything worked exactly as stated and within 15 minutes we were in the museum and toodling our way through history. In late September of this year the lines were very long in the morning (we went early to "scope it out") and even longer by 1:00 PM. I think it was absolutely worth the money. Recommend without hesitation.

after much research, we (family of 5) chose Through Eternity for our Vatican tour. Depending on what you want - previous response seemed to just need entrance and then did their own tour - we wanted an indepth tour and to understand the history and significance of what we were seeing. We were SOOOO pleased with our day! Our guide Brandon was enthusiastic and interesting - we had an hour break for lunch- and it was a great day. Definitely worth doing. We were in line for about 15 minutes. Total group size was 12 people. You can somehow do a 2 hour tour of the Vatican or 5 hours, like Through Eternity. I don't know what you miss with the 2 hour tour, but we did not find the day too long. I would recommend them to anyone!

I just came back from Italy and I used Presto Tours. I looked at Through Eternity but i decided to go with Presto becuase of the great reviews and the ability to skip the lines. Me and my family really enjoyed our tour. We took a tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chappel and Collesseum. Our two younger boys were very entertained throughout the tour(WHICH WAS IMPORTANT). Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept the tour interactive. I would highly recomend presto to anybody traveling to Italy.

I used Enjoy Rome as my tour company and was very pleased with them. My guide was great; she was knowledgeable giving us not only history but those fun little anecdotes or back stories as well.

Enjoy Rome is listed in Rick's book (where I found them) and their site is enjoyrome.com in case you are interested.
