Torella Del Sannio, Campobasso

Hello,

I am planning my 1st trip to Italia. I of course want to see as much as possible, but i'm not sure what is realistic. One of our stops has to be Torella Del Sannio to visit family. Is there anything of note to try and visit in the area? I'm also trying to figure out where to fit this into our itinerary (and to figure out our itinerary in general). I'm assuming we would train it between cities, but it seems like we would need to drive to Torella Del Sannio?

Hoping to book an open jaw flight out of Newark NJ, May 28-June 12, to hit the following:

Rome,
Pompei,
Florence,
Venice,
Milan (Maybe)

Perhaps Milan could serve as our departure city, we also have some family here.

Any info would be extremely helpful! Thanks :)

There are a few direct, regional trains per day from either Naples or Rome to Campobasso (3 hours each), so perhaps a relative would pick you up at that train station.

Milan is an easy city from which to fly home (good airport connections by train and bus); I would not give it as much priority/time as the other cities, however.
