Too soon for train schedule?

Hello! I am kind of freaking out. For weeks, I have been checking schedules on Trenitalia for June 11 from Bolzano to Venice. There are only very early trips, ie. 5am and late in the afternoon on that day. It is a Sunday, so when I check the previous Sunday (June 4) there are plenty of times for travel. Is it just too soon to book that day? I want to believe that.
I know there are people on this site who are very knowledgeable about train schedules and how it works, any information is appreciated. Thank you.

It just means that the train schedule for that period has not been released yet. I would wait a couple of weeks and try again - it's usually 3 months ahead of time but they could be delayed a bit.

One thing you can do is go to Italia Rail - they allow you to give your email and they will send you a notification when the schedule is released.

It is not usually 3 months ahead

The schedules are out now thru June 11, they will be updated then for the next 6 months

I would guess that because June 11 is the last date out now there is just a delay or holding back on tix for that day.
I would expect once all updated the offerings would be same as the previous Sunday
I don’t think those trains will sell out so you have plenty of time

Dario is our Italian expert on trains
You could send him a PM if he doesn’t respond here

Are you looking on Trenitalia and not a reseller?

I see trains on June 11 at 7:12, 1:31, 3:12 and 3:31
Bolzano Bozen to Venezia SLucia
Most with one change in Verona

Regardless of what country I am going to I use the German Rail website as they seem the most accurate, train schedules hardly ever change. If your travleing on a Monday use any Monday for an example of what times to pick from. In over 10 trips to Italy I have never pre-purchased tickets. The only exception would be a night train and that only a few hours before. So what I'm trying to say, don't freak out just go with the flow. The journey is part of the adventure! Using the German rail site print the timetables showing the intermediary stops, so you will know when to change trains and how long you have to get to the other track. I print the schedule I want and the next two trains runs just to be safe, it is Italy after all. J

Why would Trenitalia not be accurate?
They are the actual official train company in Italy
