My husband and I are driving from Vicenza to San Gimignano (3 1/2 hour drive) and will stay there for two nights. We do have a rental car and will plan to explore San Gimignano the first afternoon and evening and then hit the ground running early the next morning....first to Montepulciano, Pienza, (Val D'Orcia area) and then Montalcino. I feel like we can fit this road trip in, however, IF I need to cut out one town, which one should I cut out? I cannot make that decision!!!! We tried extending our trip, but you know Delta, their change fees are outrageous! Any advice is appreciated!!
