I plan to visit San Giovanni Rotando (on the "spur" of the boot) and then head north to Ravenna, Florence, Assisi, and maybe Venice. Hate really hot weather. What have you experienced in the first 2 weeks of Sept? Thanks!

It still could be very warm just plan on air cond. in your lodging.

It was REALLY hot last year the last week in Aug. and first week in Sept. Check the averages and see how hot is TOO hot for you ;-) I think last year it was more than usual (felt that way to me anyway).
