We will be driving to Positano from Rome soon and we understand there are tolls on the roads. Are they paid by cash Euro or do I need a loaded credit card from the country? Probably this has been asked before. Sorry.

We always just pay cash - it is easier. You can use a credit card IF it is a true chip and pin and not a chip and signature that is more common with US credit cards.
