Toilets on buses.....update

In regards to the question I asked on an earlier post about whether or not there were toilets on buses....specifically on the SENA bus that goes from Rome to Siena.....according to an email response from the company....there are toilets on the buses. Yay!

Ok, did you ask where on the bus the toilet is located? My experience is under the floorboards, toward the center of the bus.

Rome2rio shows Bus Sena as a four hour trip from Rome to Siena. Maybe you should email again and ask if the bus makes a toilet stop off the highway someplace. My bus with a toilet under the floorboards made a toilet stop at a big beautiful highway rest stop with a lot of toilets and huge snack bar.

The drivers instructed us that we had time only to use the toilets and to return immediately to the bus. No browsing at the snack bar. They counted us and walked the distance to the facility and brought back one wayward guy.

Get as much information as you can now.

Sandra......the website www.sena.it shows the trip from Rome to Siena taking about 2 hours 40 minutes (depending on where you get off). The reply from the company reads, "our buses have toilets on board but we do not generally do bus stop during the trip." I'm not sure what you mean by "under the floorboards of the bus".....that conjures up a very awkward picture in my mind....:-)

Usually the back stair case leads to both the back bus entrance and the toilet door.

SENA website says buses have "restrooms" on board. Online reports by people who have taken SENA make No complaints about facilities. All are good reports.
