Just curious. Does anyone have any idea what these "columns" are in the Piazza del Popolo in Todi? The residents of Todi make good use of this piazza throughout the year, but I have not seen these before now. Thanks.

Ah, Todi. We were there in 2006. What I do remember is the Todi Cathedral. Gorgeous.

I agree, those columns are intriguing. Todi is on my list to see, perhaps next year with a trip to Umbria, which I love too.
