Toblach, Misurina, or Cortina as a base for Tre Cime by bus?

Hello

Any opinions on pros/cons of where to stay in order to teach Tre Cime by bus? (in July). Specifically which is easiest to get to/from Tre Cime without fear of the bus being too busy to board there/back?

My current thinking/concerns:
- Toblach, convenient for seeing other places such as Lago Di Briers, Sexten, S Candido. However further away from Tre Cime
- MIsurina - closest to Tre Cime, but the bus 444 might be full of people who boarded at Toblach and earlier stops and can't get on)
- Cortina - There is a shuttle bus from Cortina to Tre Cime (but timetables not out yet). Could also visit Cinque Torri too one day.

My schedule for the number of days staying here is flexible, but could be up to 5 or 6 to take lots of things in.

TIA

I don't know about the buses, but remember that Misurina is just a few hotels on the shore of a small lake; I would not define it as a village, it is much smaller than a village. Have a look to it on Google Earth. Cortina and Dobbiaco are towns with a lot more activities. As Cortina is where the Italian elites go for a mountain holiday, it is more expensive than Dobbiaco.

I spent much holiday time in the area when I was a teen (say, 40 years ago) and the Tre Cime area was already crowded; I cannot think how could it be now. If you are a strong hiker, you could consider accessing the tre cime (rifugio Locatelli) by foot from Sexten. As there is an almost 1000 meters altitude difference, the natural selection makes this way much less crowded :-)
