I will be in Rome, Florence & Venice around March 10th. Has anyone been in Italy at this time of the year, if so what is the weather like?
Thanks
Sally, It will probably be on the "chilly" side (especially at night), and perhaps a bit wet.
Hi Sally, you will need warm and water proof clothes that you can peel off. It can rain and be chilly, but it can also be warm with you sitting outside having lunch in the sun. Evenings and nights are chilly. have a good trip.
Hi Sally. It was chilly when I was there in mid-March - it drizzled in Verona, was sunny but cool in Venice, cool and cloudy between Venice and Florence...you get the idea. I suggest that starting a couple weeks before you leave, look at the daily weather in the cities you'll visit on weather.com so you'll get a much more accurate picture of the weather.
