I read a post re transport to Tivoli & 2 other gardens by public transportation and the recommended visit order from Rome.

And can’t find it in RS Italy book.

To my knowledge there are only 2 “gardens” in or near Tivoli. In the town itself is the Villa d’Este and Hadrian’s Villa about 6 km. out of town. There is also Villa Gregoriana which is a park. Take the train from Rome to Tivoli and it’s about a 15 minute walk to Villa d’Este. You’ll need a taxi to get to Villa Adriana. Another option would be to take a tour from Rome that visits both.
