Tirana to Como San Giovanni

we will be arriving in Tirano @ 1230 via Berninni express in May 2017 and then need to travel by train to commo San Giovanni station, lake Como arriving later that afternoon. Can anyone help with time tables and are we best to book point to point tickets or is there a Italy pass as we then want to travel to cinque Terre, Florence and Venice by train spending 3 days in each

Is there a reason you need to get to Como San Giovanni station in particular? You can get a train from Tirano to Varenno-Esina at 1:08 pm that gets to Varenna at 2:36 pm. It is only 7.30 EUR per person. From there, walk downhill to the ferry dock and get a ferry at 3:17 pm that will get you to Como waterfront at 4:07 pm. Cost is 15.20 EUR per person for fast boat service. San Giovanni station is on the side of the hill about a half mile away, but again, why do you want to be there?
That schedule is the current one for weekdays. It may change in May of next year.

From Tirana, Albania (TIA) you can fly to Milan Malpensa (MXP) with Alitalia or Blue Panorama Airlines. Blue Panorama flies to Bergamo (BGY) as well.
You will need to go to Milan Centrale station to catch a train to Como SG.

I think they meant Tirano, Italy Roberto, but you knew that already.

Or do you need to go back up to Switzerland to get your luggage?

There is no direct service if I have puzzled out your question correctly. If it is Tirano at the end of Bernina "Express" and your actual final destination is Como SG, then you either get off and take the ferry as above, or continue well past the lake towards Milan where the two train lines merge and double back to the lake on the other line and get off at Como SG just before the border.

Can you provide a bit more detail please, including if you like your profile so that we can see where you are going after Italy. If you are flying home - wherever home is, we get questions from most English speaking countries in the world - from Venice you may find that the flights are very early in the morning and if you don't want to have to be out of bed at 2am you might consider a different airport.
