Tips for sidetrips to Capri and Amalfi on the weekends.

On a previous post, I was told that Saturday and Sunday will be very busy in Capri and Amalfi. Since those were the only days we have , I wonder if ever there is any suggestions to help us with the day. I realize that because it'll be so busy in June, we'll skip Blue Grotto and will do Anacapri and the chairlift to Mt. solare? ( not sure if I got the name right) for Capri.

A different suggestion for Capri, take the walk to Tiberius' Villa Jovis at the opposite end of the island to Monte Solaro. It starts at the Piazza in Capri (town) and is marked by ceramic signs on walls. It will take about 40 to 60 minutes and apart from one or two short distance spots is a steady climb. At the villa, eat the picnic you picked up in Sorrento (from Bar Rita on Corso Italia?) on the viewing platform around the little church and statue of the Virgin Mary. The views are wonderful. The villa is also worth looking around! On the walk back down to town have a pit stop at the little cafe with outside seating and even more views. http://www.capri.com/en/s/villa-jovis-mount-tiberio
