I have seen conflicting times posted in various travel sites -so if one is walking at a moderate pace, and wants to go directly from Pisa Centrale to the Field of Miracle (sightseeing on the way back) how long should it take for the hike?
Fifteen or twenty minutes, half hour max, depending on pace. It's about a mile, not much more.
Previous poster is right...it's 15 - 20 min, depending on how fast you walk. Not a hard walk. We just followed a group of people, it was obvious where they were headed, and they lead us directly to the Field of Miracles. If you want to climb the tower, go first to the ticket booth and get a ticket, if you don't make reservations, you can't go up. We bought our ticket and had to wait about 2 hours to climb.
conflicting times posted in various travel sites You mean there are other travel sites?
It's a little over 1 mile
